This image is inspired by the shade of the trees in a beautiful forested park near my home. Canadian landscape is my inspiration and I love representing it with classic, graphic linocut relief prints. These prints look great hung individually on the wall, or in a grouping. This image was drawn on and carved into linoleum using a hand tool. It was inked and printed by hand using a wooden spoon to burnish the back of the paper. It is printed with black oil-based ink on three different papers. The first 10 prints in the edition are printed on Handmade Leek paper. The second 10 prints in the edition are printed on Handmade Red Onion Paper. The last 10 prints in the edition are printed on Speedball Printmaster archival paper.
