This Northern Pine was inspired by the Canadian landscape that I love. These make perfect, affordable gifts for any art lovers in your life!
This image was drawn onto and carved into linoleum using a hand tool. With a reduction print, each colour is carved out of the plate and then printed. The next colour is then cut out of the same plate and printed overtop of the first colour. The plate is "reduced" with each layer printed. This print was printed by hand with my trusty wooden spoon, using oil-based printmaking ink on Speedball Printmaster Archival paper.
This is from a limited varied edition of 8 prints. Each print is signed and numbered.
