This Spring Pansy flower print is inspired and sketched from flowers in my own garden. My garden is often my inspiration!
This image was drawn directly into an acrylic plexiglass plate using an Etching needle. The plate was then inked, excess ink was wiped away, and the remaining ink in the grooves of the plate was printed onto the paper as it went through an etching press. It is printed with a hand-mixed green & black oil-based ink on 1618 Arnheim Archival Printmaking Paper. Colour was added to the flower blooms using watercolour paints once the print was completely dry.

These prints are presented in a plastic sleeve with a board backing. A small write up on my printing process is also included. Prints are shipped out in a protective envelope to ensure they reach you safely.
